We are pleased to invite you to Clermont-Ferrand for the 12th EARLI SIG 16 “Metacognition and Self-Regulated Learning” Biennial International Conference.

The main conference will take place from 26 to 28 August 2026, with a pre-conference workshop on 25 August, and will take place at the Maison des Sciences Humaine (MSH) and the KAP Learning Center of the University Clermont-Auvergne, in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand.

We look forward to welcoming you to Clermont-Ferrand, where you can share your research, exchange innovative perspectives and engage in enriching scientific discussions in a stimulating and friendly environment.

The MSH is linked to Clermont Auvergne University, and it supports and coordinates research in human and social sciences, in addition to initiating interdisciplinary projects. The building of the MSH is close to the Lecoq Garden, a five-hectare green space with many areas to relax in. 

Inaugurated by the University Clermont-Auvergne in September 2024, KAP is a single location that houses three distinct services, designed to promote learning and training for students, teachers, and researchers: university library, university teaching support service, and student career guidance service.
